Project LIFT, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, provides a performanced-based mentoring program for at-risk youth in North Fulton County. We support and empower them to become sustainable and contributing members in their communities by focusing on academic support, mentor and peer accountability, and life skills development.
Project LIFT serves students ages 13-17 who are: having difficulty passing mandated tests; lacking the ability to withstand peer pressure; lacking motivation; not performing to their potential; and/or enmeshed in difficult family situations. Students are referred by Fulton County School personnel, parents or community partners. Each participant is provided with a personal mentor (Coach) who works directly with the student to improve their academic performance and enhance their abilities to withstand daily challenges as a teen.
